Knowledge & Experience
Essential
Experience within a health care setting
Photography experience
Working as a member of a team
Desirable
Experience in ophthalmic imaging
Experience within an ophthalmic setting
Knowledge of ophthalmic imaging equipment
Ophthalmic pathology knowledge
Qualifications & Training
Essential
A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant science or photography related subject
A range of academic qualifications including Maths and English
Desirable
Evidence of further learning in imaging and/or Ophthalmology
Personal Attributes & Skills
Essential
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills within the team and with patients
Demonstrate a caring manner with an understanding disposition.
Willingness to mentor other members of the team
Ability to work to deadlines
Demonstrate a flexible approach to meet the demands of the Ophthalmic service including cross site working
Ability to take a methodical approach which is accurate
Desirable
Demonstrable knowledge of dealing with public/conflict
Proven management skills
