**Job Summary**
The Middle School Maths Teacher is responsible for strengthening students’ mathematical foundations and preparing them for higher-level problem solving. The role focuses on conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and application-based learning, helping students transition from basic arithmetic to advanced mathematical thinking.
**Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Academic Delivery**
* Plan and deliver mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum standards (State/CBSE/ICSE).
* Teach key topics such as fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, geometry, mensuration, and basic statistics.
* Use interactive and application-based teaching methods to make concepts clear and engaging.
* Encourage analytical thinking and real-life application of mathematics.
**2. Student Development**
* Build strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
* Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support.
* Encourage participation, curiosity, and confidence in mathematics.
**3. Assessment & Evaluation**
* Design and conduct tests, assignments, and periodic assessments.
* Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
* Maintain records of student progress and academic performance.
**4. Classroom Management**
* Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
* Manage diverse learning abilities effectively.
* Promote active student engagement and collaboration.
**5. Curriculum Planning**
* Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
* Align teaching with academic goals and learning outcomes.
* Collaborate with faculty for integrated and interdisciplinary learning.
**6. Parent & School Communication**
* Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
* Communicate student progress and areas of improvement.
* Contribute to school academic initiatives and events.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (B.Sc / B.A Mathematics) – Mandatory
* B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory
**Experience**
* 2–4 years of teaching experience in middle school (preferred)
* Freshers with strong subject knowledge may apply
**Skills Required**
* Strong mathematical concepts and problem-solving ability
* Excellent communication and teaching skills
* Ability to simplify complex concepts
* Classroom management skills
* Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools (Smart boards, PPTs, LMS)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
