**Job Responsibilities:**

* 3+ years of professional experience in C/C++ development on Linux platforms (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
* Experience refactoring C code for compatibility with newer RHEL versions (ideally RHEL 9.x).
* Hands-on expertise with building, testing, and deploying C/C++ applications using Makefile.
* Proven ability to identify and rewrite deprecated C/C++ code and library calls.

**Bonus Points:**

* Familiarity with modern RHEL changes (glibc, system libraries, compiler updates, etc.).
* Experience troubleshooting and resolving build/linking issues during OS upgrades.
* Exposure to LLM/AI tools for code analysis and refactoring automation.
* Knowledge of deployment and packaging best practices for C/C++ application binaries and libraries.
* Collaboration experience with QA for test case support and issue resolution.
* Familiarity with networking/security concepts (SSL/HTTPS implementation at application/code level).
* Experience working in environments where Java and C/C++ interact (JNI, shared libraries, etc.).
* Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD practices for compiled languages on Linux.
