What you’ll actually do
* Ship storefront features end to endFigma and an API contract in, working page out — server components where they belong, client components where interaction demands it, loading and error states and analytics events included rather than deferred.
* Build and extend the block systemAdd CMS-driven blocks merchandisers can compose without an engineer, and keep the block contracts typed and predictable as the catalogue grows.
* Own performance as a habitRead a bundle treemap, find the chunk that shouldn’t be in the critical path, and fix it. Chase LCP and CLS on PDP and PLP. Know what a cache tag is doing before you add one.
* Work the commerce paths carefullyCart, pricing, offers and checkout hand-off are where bugs cost money — and half the bugs turn out to be a Medusa field or a stale cache, not the UI. Trace them to the real source rather than patching over them.
Skill set:
1. Core: Next.js, ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind, React Server Components
2. State: Redux Toolkit + redux-persist.
3. AI-assisted coding: Claude Code, Claude skills
4. CMS: block-driven pages from a headless CMS (Strapi/Contentful/Sanity).
5. SEO: dynamic sitemaps, metadata + JSON-LD generation — a real requirement, not a bullet.
6. Performance: Core Web Vitals / bundle-size optimizations.
7. Caching: ISR + on-demand revalidation via API route.
**Next + ReactJS + Redux + Claude is mandatory**
Requirements
* **3–4 years** building production React, with at least one substantial Next.js project you can talk through in detail.
* Strong **TypeScript** — you model data with types rather than reaching for any.
* Real fluency with the **App Router**: server vs. client components, streaming, route handlers, and the caching model.
* Comfortable in a **global state library** — Redux Toolkit ideally, or Zustand with the willingness to learn ours.
* **Tailwind** and the CSS underneath it, done mobile-first. Most of our traffic is a phone on a mediocre connection.
* You can **explain and defend every line you submit** — whoever or whatever wrote it. Code you can’t reason about doesn’t ship.
Nice to have
* **AI coding tools** — Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot. We recommend them and most of the team uses them daily, but we care about the result, not the method.
* Headless commerce — **Medusa**, Shopify Hydrogen, Saleor or similar.
* A headless CMS (**Strapi**, Sanity, Contentful) and block or page-builder patterns.
* **Core Web Vitals** work with numbers to show for it.
* SEO and analytics implementation — structured data, GTM data layer, CleverTap.
* Payment gateway integration, especially **Razorpay**.
* Accessibility beyond the checklist — keyboard navigation, focus management.
Pay: ₹307,521.13 – ₹700,000.00 per year
