We do not use these technologies for storing information to target advertising to you on or off our sites.

Your choice and our use of these technologies

We offer certain site features, services, applications and tools that are available only through the use of these technologies. You are always free to block, delete or disable them if your browser, installed application or device permits. However, if you decline cookies you may not be able to take advantage of certain site features, and you may be required to re-enter your password more frequently during your browsing session.

Our uses of these technologies

• Advertising or targeting related — first-party or third-party cookies and web beacons used to deliver content, including ads relevant to your interests, on our sites or on third-party sites, and to understand the usefulness of the advertisements delivered to you.

You can opt out of our use of first-party advertising-related cookies through our Ad Choice program. Opting out does not necessarily mean you will not see our advertising — only that it will not be targeted to you through cookies. To opt out of all other types of technologies we employ, block, delete or disable them as your browser or device permits.

Use of these technologies by authorised third-party service providers

We may work with third-party companies, commonly known as service providers, who are authorised to place third-party cookies, web beacons or similar technologies on our sites with our permission. These service providers help us deliver content and advertising and compile anonymous site metrics and analytics. They are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions on their use of personal information. Third-party cookies are covered by the third parties’ privacy policy.

Service providers we cooperate with include:

• Facebook (Meta) — we may transmit information about your usage of our services through the Facebook Pixel and by sending data directly to Facebook via our servers, to display personalised advertisements, measure their effectiveness and report on them. Where we and Facebook assume shared responsibility for the collection and transmission of your personal data, we have entered into an Agreement about Shared Responsibilities with Facebook.
• Google — we may transmit information about your usage of our services to Google to display personalised advertisements via Google advertising products (such as Google Ad Manager and Google Ads), measure their effectiveness and gain insights into target groups and product developments.
• TikTok — we may transmit information about your usage of our services through the TikTok Pixel and by sending data directly to TikTok via our servers, to display personalised advertisements, measure their effectiveness and report on them.

With the exception of the use of such technologies by our service providers or other authorised third parties, we do not permit any third-party content on our sites (such as item listings, member-to-member communications, comments or reviews) to include or use any cookies, web beacons, local storage or similar technologies for tracking purposes. If you believe a listing or other third-party content might be collecting personal information or using tracking technologies on one of our sites, please report it to info@connectingdeals.com.

Ad networks and exchanges operated by authorised third parties

We may use third parties, such as advertising networks and exchanges, to serve you advertisements. These providers may use third-party cookies, web beacons or similar technologies to collect information, and may also collect your device identifier, IP address or identifier for advertising (IDFA). This information may be used to assist us in providing you with more relevant advertising on our sites or elsewhere on the web. Third-party cookies are covered by the third parties’ privacy policy.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you refuse or accept cookies and delete existing cookies. The preferences for each browser you use will need to be set separately. Note that if you disable cookies entirely, some parts of Connecting Deals may not work as intended.
