Last 968 CS “Sport” ever made 306/ 306Our example has a special history: The first owner placed an order (late ’94/ early ’95) in England for a 968 Club Sport with a special option: Recaro Pole Position bucket seats, not in fiberglass but in Carbon Fiber (identical to those that were to be fitted to the 968Turbo RS Competition racing models), with a weight saving of over 4, 7 kg per seat compare to fiberglass and 10kgs compare to the Recaro Lightweight seats fitted in standard . But for Porsche, given the low number of RS produced (a fiasco, only 4 examples produced in all), the option announced, but not confirmed on paper, was simply out of the question, and for budgetary reasons, abandoned! Our disappointed but stubborn and confident owner was offered compensation in the form of the LAST EXEMPLE (manufactured, imported or sold ? the question still remains) of the 968 Club Sport with the  “Sport”, P35 option : UK Luxury Pack), badged 306/ 306 by Porsche UK with a commémorative brass medal on the center column near the ashtray and one onthe driver’s door pillar( also provided with the car an unique Key ring with the same brass medal on a black leather with red stiching with at the opposite side the Porsche Crest!) , while waiting for the famous bucket seats. Finally 7/ 8 months after the purchase (1st immat , in May 1995) at the end of 1995 / beginning of 1996 his patience was rewarded, at least a Porsche dealer was able to deliver and install those famous RECARO BUCKETS model ” Pole Position CarboTech” buckets (labelled 1994) more than rare (the absolute Graal, produced exclusively for competition and in any case unique on this model (Value estimated at more than 10, 000€)Without saying that, to achieve substantial weight savings, everything that wasn’t essential on the car was removed, starting with the rear windscreen wiper and the alarm, while the rest was kept because it couldn’t be removed: windows, mirrors, electric hatch opening wiyth the cenral locking and, of course, the electric Targa roof. All of this added an extra 5/ 7 kgs of weight, largely offset by the weight savings of the carbon buckets. The result is an Amazing 968 CS “Sport” that’s lighter and more powerful than a standard 968CS (1300Kgs/ 1310 kgs. and 260 Hp thanks to small chips upgrade) This 968CS Sport has never taken part in Track Days or been on the track in general. Just a few endurance and regularity rallies, which explains the 3-point Sabelts red harnesses and electrically-operated aluminum OMP-Racing competition fire extinguisher (last recharged in 2010). The onboard Trip Master disappeared many years ago, adding to the dashboard’s undeniable charm. It’s up to the future and lucky owner to reinstall one for future events. Supplied in French registered with a new french « Contrôle Technique (MOT) without any observation a virgin one !! made on August 21 , 2025, Valid upon 2027. The car is complete with its Tool bag, the Spare wheel with the complete inflator case, the luggage cover and the Targa Roof bag. Also the leather pouch with the User’s Manual, all the documents. Nota : The original Porsche Recaro Light weight « Comfort » Seats in superb condition are available as an option . History FilePresented to you is a stunning and Exclusive 1995 Porsche 968 Club Sport in Schwartz Perl BlacK. What a rare find this one is this ultimate 968 CS « Sport » produced on a very rare color « Schwartz Perl Black » with gold flakes the color varies from black to bronze depending of the light and original Red 17″ Cup wheels. This 968 Club Sport was originally birthed in the UK – being the last and Ultimate of the 306/ 306 allocated RHD examples . Fully maintained in the UK before coming to France . This one of a kind 968 CS « Sport » comes with a A4 history folder (MOT Ect…) with certification from French Expert. With only 3 previous owners in thirty years .ExteriorFrom the moment this 968 Club Sport came in France , the Schwartz Perl Black body, with the red Club Sport decals and matching Indian Red wheels left us in awe. This 968 Club Sport’s body is in excellent condition, all of the panels are aligned, confirming that this is a non-accident example. There are no markings of the paint throughout its body, which lets us know of the amount of love and car the current owner has invested into it. The only flaws lay on a minute marking towards the right centre of the front and minor door spot on the right wing. As expected with a car of this calibre, this example has been driven, as shown from the small abrasions from stone chips on the headlights, with the side lights and rear lights in very good condition. All of the surrounding window trim and wipers are in pristine condition – with only a sign of oxidation on the windscreen and rear window (common onto all the 968). The emblems throughout and the Club Sport + Sport decal are in very good condition, with no scuff marks, tears or dullness. INTERIOR AND TRIMAs we open the doors of this 968 CS « Sport » , we are immediately greeted with the same colour scheme as experienced from the exterior. The black theme is continued in this interior, with the noticeable and  Unique and only one «  Recaro Carbon Pole Position bucket seats from 1994 and Sabelt red harnesses, and Panasonic F35 original radio head unit and amuminium polished OMP-Racing extinguisher. The buttons in true Porsche fashion, have lasted just shy of 30 years – are clearly visible and fully functioning. The interior carpeting throughout is mint – from the surrounding interior carpeting, The dash has no signs of cracks or scratches – and the same goes for the centre console. The 968 Club Sport steering wheel and gear shift knob are fully original, with the gear shift knob wearing its classic car patina very well. The Bucket seats (marked from 12/ 94) have been completely new polished and the housing new from alcantara covered with embroidered Recaro logo and Porsche Crest on the back. The seats brackets are also lighter and new ( the original Confort Light Seats in black tissue from Recaro delivered with the car are also available on option and are in pristine condition. The rear seats are still in place (with no seat belts) and as new, which the original factory fresh carpeting. Not to mention, a non-airbag 3 spokes RS type steering wheel (with center Porsche Crest) all in the name of weight saving. The Spare wheel as the complete 968CS tool kit and the complete tyre compressor , the cover bag for the Targa roof and the luggage cover are present with Ice on the Cake one contemporay leather suitcase « Porsche Design » with the 968CS Pin ! in perfect conditon are present also mentioned 2 Sabelt 3 points removable Red Harness and and an OMP Racing aluminium racing extinguisher 2, 95kg dating from 12/ 1994 electrical trigger one (no more in use) .ENGINE AND RUNNING GEAR Upon starting up this very unique 3. 0L 260 HP inline-four engine, as we warmed it up to operating temperatures the idle became steady – which signalled the start of our test drive. The 968 Club Sport  was not known for its fast acceleration and speed – it was renowned for its handling – as proven through the tight and fast corners along the mountain roads – which we felt grounded and confidence inspired. This one delivers around 260 HP thanks to the modified chips and half inox exhaust line delivering an estimate 270/ 280 km/ h top speed. The steering feedback was direct and strong – while every gear shift was short and precise. The brakes were adequate and confidence inspiring and every direction we pointed the front of the nose, the rear followed – providing a very enjoyable driving experience. There was an increased interior sound of exterior road noises – due to the nature of this 968 Club Sport having most of its sound deadening removed increased by the Half line inox exhaust . We did not notice any strange smells or excessive smoke from the engine and exhaust – confirming that this 968 Club Sport was meticulously cared for as proven by the A4 history folder . the little rust under the wheel base has bee treated with “OWATROL Rustol Owatrol”Belts, water pump, clutch and oil service, brakes ect… done in 2024.
