For sale is a gorgeous antique French mechanical metronome made by Paquet, dating back to around 1900–1905. This is the standard model (without the bell chime), making it perfect for everyday piano or instrument practice, or simply as a stunning decorative display piece for a music room.

**Condition:** Fully working with a reliable, steady ticking rhythm. The wind-up mechanism is smooth.

**Appearance:** The wood casing is in good condition with a lovely warm patina. Unlike many from this era, it is completely complete and includes its original front door cover.

**History:** Stamped with the early Paquet serial run code and the English “Made in France” export mark on the woodwork.
