**Job Description – Teacher (Marathi – Marathi Medium)**

**Institution:** Bhaurao Pote School (Government Aided)

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Marathi Teacher to teach students in Marathi medium, focusing on language proficiency, literature, and overall communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Teach Marathi language and literature as per prescribed curriculum
* Develop students’ reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons
* Conduct regular assessments, tests, and assignments
* Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports
* Encourage participation in cultural and literary activities
* Ensure discipline and create a positive learning environment
* Coordinate with parents and school management when required

**Eligibility Criteria**

* B.A./M.A. in Marathi
* B.Ed. is mandatory
* Strong command over Marathi language (reading, writing, speaking)
* Prior teaching experience preferred

* Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability
* Classroom management and student engagement skills
