Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, performance tuning, security, backup, recovery, and maintenance of Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing mission-critical production databases and ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database (11g/12c/18c/19c/21c).
* Perform database creation, migration, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
* Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN backup & recovery.
* Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
* Perform database performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, ASH, Statspack, and SQL Tuning.
* Configure and manage database security, users, roles, profiles, and privileges.
* Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
* Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
* Monitor storage utilization and perform capacity planning.
* Support production, development, testing, and DR environments.
* Automate routine DBA tasks using Shell/Python scripting.
* Coordinate with application developers, system administrators, and infrastructure teams.
* Maintain database documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
* Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit policies.
* Provide 24×7 production support whenever required.

* Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)
* Oracle Certified Master (OCM) (Preferred)
Desired Skills
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Experience with ITIL processes.
* Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation is an advantage.
