South Woodham Runners are proud to announce our 2026 10k – Entry is open
We are happy once again to host our 10k and we welcome all runners to come and visit to see what a beautiful hidden little gem of a course we have.
Course:
Run over an extended parkrun course this wonderful route takes you through the beautiful countryside and farmland of Southern Essex and along the route of the River Crouch. The event location is CM3 5WP.
It is an interesting course with a few short level changes and surface in many locations. We will also have a water station which is accessible from two points on the course.

Start time 10am
Parking will be in the overflow carpark at Marsh Farm which will be well signposted. Please DO NOT park at the car park at the wateredge.
Numbers can be picked up on the day from 8am.
There is a bag drop and multiple toilet facilities.
Medals and prizes will be issued on the day.
Be quick: This is the fourth year of this event and we received a really good response last time so we have increased the field to 400, so get in early to avoid disappointment.
In addition to our magnificent medals there will be trophies for the first three men and women across the line.
Entry: Entries will only be accepted from registered EntryCentral users. This means you will need to log in to your account or register with EntryCentral to create an account if you don’t have one already. The process is quick and it means you will be able to make changes to your entry, including transferring to someone else if you are not able to run (see below).
Headphones: Strictly no headphones (except hearing aids) – we are serious about your safety and will disqualify any runner ignoring this warning. Similarly, no running with buggies or dogs please.
Entry fee: £19 if you are affiliated to England Athletics; if not £21 for unaffiliated runners. However we have an early bird discount of £2 for all who sign up before 1st November 2025.
Admin charge: Entry Central will charge the organiser an additional 4% to cover the cost of administration.
Refunds: No refunds will be made unless the organisers cancel the event.
Age Restrictions: All competitors must be at least 16 years old on the day of the race.
