I already have the Connecting Deals app. How can I get the new version?
- If you have automatic updates enabled, the new app will be installed to your device as soon as it becomes available
- If automatic updates are disabled, you can update to the new app by going to the App Store or Google Play Store and searching for Connecting Deals
How do I download the Connecting Deals app?
The Connecting Deals app is available to download for free from both the App Store for Apple devices, and Google Play Store for Android devices
The Connecting Deals app isn’t working
If the app isn’t working, the best thing to do is turn it off and on again. If this does not work, then we recommend:
- Checking to see if an update is available for the app
- Ensuring your device operating system is up to date
- Deleting and reinstalling the Connecting Deals app
Will my old login details work on the new app?
Yes, all login details will remain the same, and you will still be able to access your original account on the new app
Will my saved searches be transferred to the new app?
Yes, as long as you have logged into your original account
How do I delete messages on the new app?
To delete a message, you first need to navigate to Messages by selecting the message icon at the bottom of the screen. You can then delete the entire message history with another user by swiping left on the conversation you wish to delete. Swiping left will reveal a trash to indicate the conversation is being deleted. (Please note, individual messages in a conversation cannot be deleted once sent).
How do I remove the Beta version of the app?
iOS
- Uninstall the beta app from your iOS device
- Visit the App Store and install the latest version of the app.
Android
- Uninstall the beta app from your Android device
- Visit the Google Play Store, and select ‘leave beta’. Please note this may take several hours to process.
- Once completed, install the app
